Luhta x Skating Finland – Together on the journey of Finnish figure skating

Figure skating is where athleticism meets artistry. Technical precision, movement and personal expression all come together on the ice. At Luhta, we share an appreciation for this balance. Our approach to clothing combines functionality with thoughtful Finnish design, created for an active life.

Luhta has partnered with the Finnish Figure Skating Association, Skating Finland, since 2008. Over the years, the partnership has grown alongside Finnish figure skating, from supporting the sport at home to sharing in its success on the international stage.

Finnish expertise on the world stage

As a main partner of the Finnish Figure Skating Association, Luhta outfits Finland’s national team skaters and coaching teams for the moments around competition, both at home and abroad.

Luhta has a natural connection to Finnish figure skating. Success on the ice is built on dedication, technical expertise and the confidence to develop a distinctive style. For almost 120 years, Luhta has followed its own path, bringing Finnish design to people around the world. Different fields, but a shared foundation: Finnish roots, a strong identity and ambitions that reach far beyond Finland.

The journey continues

Since the partnership began, Finnish figure skating has given us plenty to celebrate. Finnish skaters have won medals at major championships, established themselves among the world’s best and created unforgettable moments in front of home crowds. In 2025, Helsinki provided another highlight as Finland claimed a one-two finish at the World Synchronized Skating Championships on home ice.

And there is more to come. In 2027, the world’s best figure skaters will gather in Tampere, Finland, for the World Figure Skating Championships – the next major milestone in our shared journey.

Luhta is proud to continue supporting Finnish figure skating, from home ice to the world’s biggest arenas.
