The name of the chain stems from its original location: the first Aleksi 13 store opened in August 1967 at Aleksanterinkatu 13 in Helsinki – commonly referred to as Aleksi 13. The flagship department store on Aleksanterinkatu closed at the end of 2020, but the name lives on with the other stores located in the Capital region shopping centres Mall of Tripla, Jumbo, Sello and Iso Omena as well as in the shopping mall Ideapark in Lempäälä.

Aleksi 13 stores offer a wide variety of clothing and shoes for men and women from both Finnish and international brands. At the moment, we carry clothing collections from many interesting fashion brands, such as Masai, Ril's, Comma, Betty Barclay, Selected Femme, Your FACE, MAC, Freequent, Soya Concept, Lindbergh, Brax, Selected Homme, Only & Sons and Matinique. Our shoe section displays the newest collections from brands like Vagabond, Copenhagen Shoes, Gabor, Clarks, Ten Points, S.Oliver and Rieker. In the leisurewear section, you can also discover the apparel and footwear collections of Finnish quality brands Luhta, Icepeak and Torstai.
