Responsible collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing facilities is a key part of managing sustainability in our supply chain. We define clear sustainability requirements for our suppliers and production partners covering, among other things, working conditions, human rights, environmental matters, and ethical business conduct.

The purpose of these guidelines and commitments is to create a shared understanding of responsible operating practices and to support continuous development throughout the production chain.

Supplier & Partner Code of Conduct

The central guideline governing our suppliers and manufacturing facilities is the Supplier & Partner Code of Conduct, which sets the minimum requirements for cooperation. It requires, among other things:

  • respect for human rights and fundamental labor rights

  • prohibition of child labor and forced labor

  • safe and healthy working conditions

  • lawful and fair wages and working hours

  • non‑discrimination and respectful treatment

  • compliance with environmental requirements and chemical regulations

  • ethical and transparent business practices

Read the Supplier & Partner Code of Conduct.

Compliance with the Code of Conduct is a prerequisite for cooperation and applies to all new and existing suppliers and manufacturing units.

Our Sustainability Policies in the Supply Chain

The Supplier & Partner Code of Conduct is complemented by our sustainability policies, which further specify requirements and operating principles for suppliers and production partners. These policies address in particular human rights, labor rights, environmental responsibility, and ethical business conduct. Key sustainability policies relevant to our supply chain include:

Where relevant, suppliers and manufacturing facilities may also be required to comply with additional guidelines on specific topics, such as chemical management.

Commitment and Conditions for Cooperation

We require our suppliers and manufacturing facilities to commit to our responsibility guidelines and policies before cooperation begins. This commitment applies to the entire production process, and we expect suppliers to ensure that the requirements are also communicated and applied to their own subcontractors.

Sustainability requirements form part of supplier selection, contractual agreements, and ongoing supplier cooperation.

Monitoring, Assessment, and Corrective Actions

Compliance with responsibility guidelines and commitments is monitored as part of supply chain management using a risk‑based approach. Monitoring is based on, among other things, audits, internal oversight, and close cooperation with suppliers.

Any non‑compliances are primarily addressed through corrective actions and development measures. Our goal is long‑term improvement in cooperation with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.

Continuous Development

Our aim is to promote responsible practices throughout the supply chain and to support the sustainable development of production over the long term. Guidelines and commitments related to suppliers and production are continuously developed to reflect changes in the operating environment, evolving regulation, and lessons learned from sustainability work. We provide suppliers and factories with guidelines and training regarding our requirements.
