The 4-way stretch material stretches in all directions giving maximum freedom of movement. The fabric is designed for outdoor use, particularly in direct sunlight. It has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of 50. This indicates that only one-fiftieth of the sun's harmful UV rays reach the skin. The protection is based on the weaving technique of the fabric; it is not achieved by using chemicals. This product is designed to be packed away into its own pocket for convenient storage and easy carrying while on the move. Extra ventilation in areas where perspiration is highest to maximise breathability and comfort. The fabric surface has been treated with a water-repellent finish. When designing this A.W.S. ACTIVE product, special attention has been paid to functionality and comfort, so the product is suitable for both active and casual use.
